The Heartbreak and Heartache of War

Three effects of war that I decided to research were the effect on were our economy the effects
on our civilians and the effects on our environment. For the effects on our civilians and
government the source that I found and used was (Effects of War) and (Costs of War). For the
effects on our environment the source that I found and used was (Green Living). I decided to
write about these subjects because they seemed a little different than what we learned in class. I
think that there are numerous amounts of effects that war has on our civilians, our economy, and
our environment.
The myriad effects that war has on our civilians is unfathomable. In my source (the effects of
war) it states that many wars have been followed by big decreases in population estimates for the
casualties of WWII vary. Many say that 60 million people dead in the war about 20 million
soldiers and 40 million civilians. The most deaths in a single day was 1.2 million civilian death
in the 872 day war.
Our economy has endured countless acts that have affected it. The source that I acquired (costs
of war) implies that sometimes selling nations are sometimes used to pay war costs. Sometimes
land is taken by the victorious army. War becomes intertwined with the economy. Many wars are
partially an entirely based on the economy. WWII is credited for bringing America out of the
great depression.
In the source that I acquired from the internet (Green Living) implies that The environment that
we cherish today has been effected for centuries. The aspects of the land that our environment
supplies us with has provided our troops with miraculous victories and devastating defeats. The
land that we take for granted everyday has been a colossal part in wars. Today war occurs often
between independent nations. Though armed conflict made the environment very rugged it still
needs to be appropriate. The environment of war is a very crucial part in any battle.
I think that there are numerous amounts of effects that war has on our civilians, our economy,
and our environment. It is important to know the different effects that war has
our economy. environment, and civilians. I like researching different things
than what we learned in class because it gives me more insight on the effects.
The effects of war are hard to differentiate from the different parts of war.
