Also, there are others that are against of changing the constitution but still
believe that the birthright citizenship should be eliminated though legislation(Editorial).
But would not that cause the same damage in those unborn children that will be raise in
the United States and will not have a motherland? Indeed there are persons that abuse
of the birthright citizenship like some Chinese that plan in advance to come to give birth
so their children will have a better future, but should we punish those unborn children
that have no blame in the decisions that their parents took for them? No, it would be
insane to take away the right to have a homeland to those children.
Finally, the founder fathers wrote the fourteen amendment and I believe it should
not be change or amend because some republicans do not want illegal immigrants to
change that status and do not want to create any other type of immigration reform and
utilize the birthright citizen issue to distract people of the true creation of a reform that
could help those immigrants who work hard every day and want to become part of this
great country but are not able to do it because of the lack of immigration changes.
