I will close the lesson by asking the students to think about what styles they will choose to
change the original image.
5. Formative Evaluation
I will be walking around the classroom checking in on the students. I will be asking them about
the photos they are choosing and what each one represents. If it seems like most of the students
do not understand the lesson, I will go over the explanation again for everyone to see.
6. Classroom Management Procedures
I will walk around the classroom making sure every student is on task.
Day of the Lesson (2nd Day)
1. Introduction/Motivation:
To reintroduce this lesson, I will briefly go over the task at hand
2. Guided Practice
I will briefly explain how to zoom into the picture and take a screen shot.
3. Independent Practice
The students will be zooming in to the images they had saved and take a screen shot to apply a
different style than the original. They will then post their images to the blog on our class
website. After posting their pictures they will write 2-3 sentences in the comments section of
the class blog.
4. Closure
After the completion of the lesson we will discuss as a class what they did and why they chose
to zoom on a particular part. I will ask for some volunteers to share their work with the class.
5. Formative Evaluation
I will be checking in on the students as they are cropping their pictures. If there are questions
they will be addressed.
6. Classroom Management Procedures
I will walk around the classroom making sure every student is on task.
Repeat 1-6, as needed, for each class session needed for this one lesson.
X. Summative Assessment and Evaluation:
The evaluation will be mostly about if the students correctly exemplified the style terms, original and
modified. There will also be great consideration of the how the message of the artworks are changed.
