1. Practice Rhythmic patterns on a note (2 minutes)
Old Material: 5 min
1. Review first 16 measures of Ode to Joy (5 minutes)
New Material: 30 min
1. Learn Yellow Submarine according to How to learn a new song. (25. Minutes)
a. Use the 5-step process for the first phrase
b. Establish tonic triad
c. Two measures name notes
d. Two measures sing notes while fingering the notes
e. Two measures chant counts.
f. Sing phrase
g. Play
h. Make corrections
i. Repeat as needed.
j. Continue with the rest of the phrase in the same manner
k. Learn the Harmony parts.
2. Review and work on ending of Ode to Joy in minor according to How to learn a new song
(10 min.)
a. Use the 5-step process for the first phrase
