About Teaching Students With Mild To Severe Disabilities." Physical Educator 67.3
(2010): 140-155. Health Source - Consumer Edition. Web. 1 Oct. 2014.
In this article, Casebolt is talking about how the teachers are not properly prepared to
teach children with minor to severe disabilities. The teachers are learning how to teach and
respond to how the kids behave. Even though the kids have disabilities they will still exert effort
to finish or try to finish the task. There are indications of how hard people will try or how much
effort they will put into something is if they are rewarded. They used a method to of watching
the kids, how they interact and respond to certain things. There were three men and two women
that participated in the research. To make sure that the teachers were being truthful they would
watch over the teachers as they worked with the kids. The participants took notes and tried many

different things. I chose this article because it had so much information and it also had examples
of different cases of children with minor or severe disabilities in physical education and what
they did to help them.

Webb, Daniel, Tammy T. Webb, and Regina Fults-McMurtery. "Physical Educators And School
Counselors Collaborating To Foster Successful Inclusion Of Students With
Disabilities." Physical Educator 68.3 (2011): 124-129. Health Source - Consumer
Edition. Web. 1 Oct. 2014.
In this article, Webb shows how federal legislation impact disabled students and how
they learn. This article also shows how the teachers and counselors change to help teach children
with disabilities. Webb also showed how the teachers and counselors helped and were always
there for the children to help them learn. If the counselors and teachers stick together they will
help the kids with minor or severe disabilities succeed. If teachers want kids with disabilities to
succeed they need to collaborate with the counselors to set up a plan that the disabled kids can
actually participate in. Teachers should also be there to support and guide the children when they
are in need. I chose this article because it showed how the teachers and counselors helped the
children. I also chose it because it showed how the government helps children with disabilities in
physical education.
