Course Retrospective Blog

The Course Retrospective Project allows for a student to review on their successes
and failures of the semester, and what they ended up learning. Then this is turned into a
sort of guide for future students in this class. It allows for students to reflect initially
only personally, but eventually as a class, in an effort to teach future students the dos and
donts of WRA, essentially. Students are put to the task of compiling a guide as a class
and showing off the different aspects of the different projects that we must complete in
this class. Then, all these aspects are placed onto a website that is compiled by one of the
course retrospective groups.
Personally, I was able to reflect on things I did wrong, things I couldve done
better and ways that I could have improved my overall experience in my WRA class.
This project helped me completely understand just how valuable WRA classes can be,
and are, if you actively participate in them and execute your writings according to the
things that are taught in the class as the semester progresses. Before taking the class, it
seems just like another university requirement that doesnt mean anything in the big
scheme of things, but WRA is different. It can single handedly be the reason why a
student goes from being a very average student to being a great student.
