TEAMWARE Group Charter

To:
Whom it May Concern
From:
Robert McLaughlin, Jeffrey Liu, Athar Trablci
Subject: TEAMWARE Charter
Date:
September 16, 2014
The purpose of this charter is to establish the standards of work that will be followed by each member of
TEAMWARE. Each signing member will abide by the expectations of the group regarding
communication, meeting schedules, and conflict resolution. A summary of our primary assignment, the
iFixit Project, is included below with a time sheet and timeline of iFixit milestones.
Expectations
Our group has agreed to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from one to four p.m and will take place in a
study room located on the California State University of Fullerton Campus. The group preferred method
of contact is via text or email. Each member will have a maximum of 24 hours to respond. In the event
when the intended meeting location becomes unavailable, the group members will corporately agree on a
new meeting location on campus. If a team member is going to miss a meeting, he or she must contact
members of group to inform them beforehand.
Conflict Resolution
Any issues, concerns, or complaints will be addressed in group sessions and resolved right away to
prevent any hindrance in work progress. If conflict continues to persist, Professor Bruce will be notified
and written documentation of complaints will be kept on file. Documentation of complaints may include
but are not limited to: poor attitude, recurring unexcused absenteeism from team meetings, lack of
communication, and poor work performance.
If two official warnings have been given and the noncompliant behavior continues, then the group
reserves the right to fire the noncompliant member of the team
iFixit Project
The Cr-48 Chromebook was created as a prototype for Googles Chromebook pilot program. Only 60,000
chromebooks were made for the pilot program, and because of this there is limited information available
regarding troubleshooting and repairing these rare laptops. It is the goal of TEAMWARE to contribute to
iFixit a comprehensive troubleshooting and repair guide for this unique device that is certainly to be of
interest to both computer enthusiasts and software engineers alike.
