INTRODUCTION
Welcome everyone! We are sure you will enjoy making this banana bread as much as we
did. It is easy and quick! It can be enjoyed with coffee, bananas, cookies, etc. Eating with
friends on a pleasant afternoon or evening is also recommended!

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS (8 items)

3 Bananas (very ripe, peeled)

1/3 Cup Butter (melted)

3/4 Cup Sugar

1 Egg (beaten)

1 TEAspoon Vanilla Extract

1 TEAspoon Baking Soda

Pinch of Salt

1+1/2 Cups All-purpose Flour

Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS

1. PREHEAT oven to 350F (175C).

2. APPLY butter to a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
3. MASH the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth in a large mixing bowl.
4. STIR the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
5. MIX in the baking soda, salt, sugar, egg (beaten), vanilla extract, all-purpose
flour; and any optional ingredients.
6. POUR the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
7. BAKE for 60 70 minutes at 350F (175C), or until a toothpick inserted in the
center comes out clean. Check after 50 minutes.
8. REMOVE from oven and COOL completely on a rack.
9. REMOVE the banana bread from the pan.
10. SLICE, SERVE, and ENJOY!

Troubleshooting

TROUBLESHOOTING
I ran out of butter.
1/3 Cup of butter is needed for the banana bread. Additional butter may be needed
for buttering the pan.
All I have left is 1/3 Cup of butter.
Use baking non-stick spray for the pan instead of butter.
There are eggshells in the mixture.
Beat egg in a separate bowl and remove and eggshells detected.
Banana Bread is not perfect.
Oven times and heating may vary, especially with modifications.
How much is a pinch?
A pinch is a small amount between the thumb and forefinger. The amount is
discretionary and small variances should not make a noticeable difference.
Can I change the amount of sugar?
Yes, the sugar can be 1/2 Cup, 3/4 Cup, or 1 Cup. Cooking times may be altered.
Can I add ingredients?
Yes, raisins, nuts, chocolate chips, poppy seeds, etc. may be added. Cooking times may
be altered.
I burned my hands.
Use potholders (possibly 4) to remove banana bread from oven, to prevent
burns. If burned, place affected area under cool running water and seek
medical attention (if necessary). Do not apply ice to area. Apply aloe-vera
if need be.
Banana bread disintegrated upon removal.
Ensure it is completely cool before attempting extraction.
Use a butter knife instead of a serrated knife to remove.
Coat butter knife with cooking spray.
Banana bread does not look exactly like images shown.
