Publication of Sample Questions for Pilot License Examination.

Director General of Civil Aviation conducts written examination for issue / extension of
Flight Crew License / Ratings for various categories of Pilots in accordance with Schedule II of
Aircraft Rules 1937. The eligibility criteria for written examination for issue / extension of Flight
Crew License / Ratings is specified under Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section 7 Series `B
Part I.
The examination for all categories of Pilots (General Papers) is conducted online
(computer based) and for technical papers, the examination is conducted OMR (paper) based,
four times in a year in the months of January, April, July & October, as per the published
schedule.
The syllabus for various categories of Pilot License Examination is available in different
parts of CAR Section 7 Series `B.
The Sample Questions for various categories of Pilot License Examination has been
prepared and the same are published on DGCA website for the benefit of candidates desirous
for appearing in Pilot License Examination.
