Based on Merriam-Webster

distinct region with a homogeneous
population
development of a political or social system
based on one or more such areas
Example: The residents have a strong sense
of regionalism.

Example (Matter)
Quebec vs the rest of Canada
Affair: Quebec chose to stick with their French
heritage, while the other places in Canada
chose to have an American way of living.

POOLED SOVEREIGNTY

Definition
Sharing of decision-making powers between
states in systems of international cooperation.
Pooled sovereignty means the strengthening
of a country's resources by combining them
with those of partner countries.
