Target Bocce
Players: 6 games of 2v2. Teams will be arranged by skill level assessed by teacher
Positions: Each player is a tosser
Facilities: Outdoors. Teacher will make a 45x10ft bocce court marked off by cones. Teacher will
also design a 3 ring target at the end of each court. 6ft outer ring, 4ft middle ring, 2ft inner ring
Equipment: 24 cones, 48 bocce balls, white spray line markers (for target)
Foci: 1) Accuracy 2) Skill Development
Rules:
Each game will be 4 minutes long
Each player gets 2 tosses
Teams will alternate tosses
Students will attempt to toss the ball inside target for points 2 points outer, 5 points
middle, 10 points inner
Once each bocce ball is thrown, students will retrieve and go back to starting line and
continue when time is up.
The last throw of each game must come from the team that was second to throw
Team wins that has highest point total when time is up. If team wins game, they go one
court to the left, if team loses, they go one court to right (ladder system)
Safety:
Do not throw bocce ball is someone else is in front of you on the court.
Everyone must be behind tosser

Team Disc Golf


Players: 4 games 3v3. names will be selected in order of last name
Positions: 1 driver thrower, 1 iron thrower, 1 putter tosser
Facilities: Outdoors open field, Each holes will be 50 yards away
Equipment: 24 driver discs, 24 iron discs, 24 putter discs, 4 disc golf baskets, 4 cones to mark
off start
Foci: 1) Teamwork 2)Strategizing throws
Rules:
Each player will throw their driver first
The best throw (closest to the basket) for each team will be where the second shot is for
each player on that team. The same goes for the second throw.
Team must alternate each throw
The team that wins is the team with the lowest par
Each set of 3v3 will start at a different hole
Once each set of 3v3 has played 4 holes, the team that won moves over to the right one to
play next competitor
Safety:
Everyone must be behind tosser
Do not throw if someone is in front of you

HORSE
Players: 6 games 4 people each game. Games are sorted by first name order
Positions: Each player is a shooter
Facilities: 3 courts each game is played on half a court 42 X 50
Equipment: 6 hoops, 6 basketball
Foci: 1) Improving shooting skill 2) strategizing shots
Rules:
Shortest player shoots first, tallest last
First person shoots from anywhere on half side of court, if shot is made, each player has to
shoot from same position,
If succeeding players make shot, no penalty, if they miss, they receive a letter
If first person misses, succeeding players shot from anywhere on half court until a player
makes that shot, then every player needs to attempt that shot
First player to receive HORSE by missing 5 designed shots, loses
Once a player reaches HORSE, the game starts over
Safety:
Players must shoot with eyes open
If behind the back shot is attempted, all players must be in front of shooter

Extension:
Up: All players must shoot from behind 3 point line
Down: two attempts are allowed by players copying a shot

Mini Golf Bowling


Players: 8 teams 3 players per team, teams are sorted by birth date
Positions: Putter, backstop, on deck
Facilities: 1 Basketball Court/Gymnasium 84 X 50
Equipment: 48 empty plastic cans, 8 golf balls, 8 putters
Foci: 1) Putting accuracy 2) Teamwork 3) Strategy
Rules:
Students will set up 6 plastic cans 25ft away in any formation
One player is putting, one is on-deck, and the other is the backstop to retrieve the ball
After each shot the putter becomes the backstop, on-deck becomes the putter, and backstop is
on-deck
The tallest player shoots first

Each game is 5 minutes


The goal is to knock all the can down by putting the ball
The team to knock down the most cans wins
Once all the cans are knocked over and there is still time left, the team needs to restack cans
and continue playing

Safety:

Golf ball must stay on ground


No throwing golf ball
putter must stay below knee level

MultiBall Bowling
Players: 6 teams 4 on each team
Position: Each player bowls
Facilities: 1 Basketball Court/Gymnasium 84 X 50
Equipment: 6 hula hoops, 120 different shape balls (baseballs, basketballs, footballs, etc) 6 cones to
mark off starting point
Foci: 1) Accuracy 2) Force/Intensity applied on objects 3) teamwork 4) improve bowling skills
Rules:
Each team has 20 objects of different shapes
Students form a line, pick up an object, and attempt to roll ball into hula hoop 30 feet away
Once they roll, they go to the back of line
once all objects have been rolled, students collect them and continue to roll
Each game is 3 minutes
Small balls are 1 point (baseball, etc.) Large ball are 2 points (basketball, etc.) Irregular ball
are 5 points (football, etc)
Team with most points at end of time wins
Saftey:

No overhand throws
Only one student at a time
