EXPERIENCE
Recreational Therapy Intern Cottonwood Treatment Center
Learned the practice of RT, including the APIE process, professional roles and responsibilities,
assessment, planned and implemented interventions/programs, evaluated outcomes,
documented, and cooperated within an interdisciplinary team (August 2014-December 2014)
Physical Therapy Aide, Canyon Rim Physical Therapy
Trained to work alongside three different Physical Therapists. Focused treatment on. Assisted
clients with exercises, alignment for Head, Neck, and Jaw (September 2012-August 2014).
Assessed and Educated adolescents and adults, with disabilities, in the art of Cross Country
Skiing and Snow Shoeing along with providing one-on-one and group support to meet individual
needs. Provided strength based therapeutic approaches with each individual. Adapted equipment
based on ability, and motivated participants (2014).
International Student Service Center at Salt Lake Community College: Connected international
students with housing, scholarships, and recreation activities in/out of school. 2006-2006

Bachelors of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an Emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation,
