Position overview
The Resident Recovery Peer Support Worker will perform a key role within the
Resident Recovery Program to facilitate and support client participation in creative
and innovative leisure activities that are consistent with their recovery goals.
The Resident Recovery Peer Support Worker will work closely alongside a Resident
Recovery Leisure Coordinator and other Program staff to develop and facilitate
meaningful leisure and lifestyle activities.
The Peer Support Worker will work as part of a team who work alongside clients in
their recovery journey to provide personalised, flexible, responsive, non clinical
support enabling people to maintain a meaningful lifestyle.
Essential Criteria
KSC 1. Demonstrated experience and understanding of the provision of non
clinical support to people living with mental illness residing in
marginalised housing.
KSC 7. Current First Aid Certificate, drivers licence and police check.
