important, they usually harvested cultivated beans, corn, red peppers, yucca, and peanuts.
They used tools for farming too, for instance the Inca were judged in 2 categories peasants and nobles.

The Incan Pay by: Nathan Bauman

The Incan Empire got the necessities of life instead of any type of pay. The woman
traded for clothes and other items. They did not have a pay instead the woman traded cloths or
other
items such as
jewels or
clothing.
According
to the article
The Incas:
History of
Andean
Empire Most
unusual
aspect of the
Inca
economy was
the lack of
a market
system and
money, with
only a few
exceptions
there were
no traders in
the Inca
Empire. Each
citizen of
the empire was
Inca building
issued the
necessities of life
This is an Inca building built by the Inca construction work force
out of the
state storehouse
including food, tools, raw materials, and clothing, and needed to purchase nothing. The article
The Incas: History of Andean Empire also says There were no shops or markets. There was no
need for a standard currency or money, and there was no need to spend money or purchase or
trade for necessities.
In fact, they got all the necessities of life from the government for everyday use. They
also got clothing from the government. The Incan clothing was different depending on class or
rank. Their clothing was made of wool from llama or alpaca fur. In the article Inca Clothing the
author states It was also known that theme upper class Incas wore much more elaborate items
as their dress in order to display their importance. All in all, the Incas were given the essentials
for life, so they didnt need a money system.
Necessities: Much needed.
Economy: The system of control of resources.
Discussion Questions:
1: Where did the Incas get there essentials for life?
2: How did the higher up Incas show that they were important?

Inca Jobs
The jobs and occupations of the Inca have very different meaning and ways to do them. The jobs
of the Inca where very limited due to lack of information and tools. The jobs of these Inca included and
where limited to farmers, warriors, herders fisherman, craftsman, weavers, sorcerer, and chosen
women (Inca jobs). Workers where skilled and talented at their jobs and studied their topic (Inca labors).
This means that their where no back rounds information other than their job meaning total focus. Even
though they had to practice their jobs they were only allowed to join the work force at 15(Mita). The
currency of the Inca was very unusual. To be very concise, they did not have one instead they used
cloth and other items to trade for jewelry or clothing (what did the Inca). They did not start to harvest
corn until 1500 B.C. adding a new type of item to trade for (mayaicaaztec.com). Not unlike today the
jobs we have gave meaning to how thy where treated. In 1400 A.D they were a small highland tribe with
no jobs while in the early 16th century they reached more than one hundred million Inca people
(Dicover-Puru.org. The Incas were judged in two categories peasants and nobles (Ducksters.com).
Thanks to scientists the world now knows Inca Occupations while limited had a very different meaning
and ways to do them.
