McKenzie, Walter. Multiple Intelligences and Instructional Technology. International

Society for Technology in Education; 2nd edition. October 15, 2005.
This book seeks to explain the differences between Howard Gardners 8 Learning
Styles. It gives suggestions specifically for educators, so that teachers are better able to
tailor their teaching to meet the unique needs of each individual student.
I used this book to help me understand the needs of my diverse learners. I used it to
help determine what types of technology tools to build into my unit, so that I could ensure
that I was meeting the needs of all my students.
Silver, Harvey. So Each May Learn: Integrating Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences.
Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development. January 1, 2000.
This book gives an overview of Howard Gardners Theory of Multiple Intelligences
as well the Myers-Briggs Personality Profiles. it is very helpful in understanding the
different ways that people process information, interact with one another, and engage with
the world.
This book was very helpful for me as a tried to wrap my mind around the ways that
so many of my students interact with the world. Creating this unit was challenging because
I was constantly attempting to put myself in the shoes of my students. This book helped
give me an informed methodology for doing that.
