Instructions:
For the purpose of this assignment, you will work with the groups formed by PGP Office
in Term 1.
Please identify one subject in Term 1 where you participated in intensive group work
because of the assignments and class preparation in that subject.
Write a short paragraph on the subject and, the number and type of assignments/group
work that you have participated in that subject in Term I.
The evaluation for this assignment will be based on the narration of examples/incidents
and your analysis of the same using the frameworks/readings covered in the first 10
sessions of OB-II.
Group Submission (Weightage: 10%)
Minimum 8 pages (Times New Roman, 12 font, 1.15 spacing, 1 margins, A4 size)
1. What are the top three norms that emerged in your group over the course of the term?
How did these norms develop?
2. What were the roles played by different group members during the course?
3. Did the roles played by different members change over a period of time? What was
the change?
4. Did the experience of diversity (cognitive, demographic, etc.) have any impact on
your groups functioning? Explain with examples.
5. Were there any conflicts within the group during the first term? How were they
resolved? Clearly explain the process.
6. Who were the influential members in your group? What was the basis of their
influence? Was there any change in their influence patterns over time?
7. Who were the low and high participating members of the group? How did the group
manage the high/low participators?
8. What are the dysfunctional processes that were experienced by your group? How did
your group manage these processes?

9. Reflect on the different identity issues (refer to the reading Identity Issues in Teams)
that you faced in your group?

over the term.
