Converting Ampere between Single Phase and 3 Phase

Converting amperage between single phase (120, 240 and 480 Voltage) and
three phase (240 and 480 Voltage)

With single-phase AC power there is only one single sinusoidal voltage. Most AC power today is produced and distributed as three-phase power where
three sinusoidal voltages are generated out of phase with each other.
Sometimes it is necessary to turn between power (VA), voltage (V) and amperage (A). The diagram and table below can be used to convert amperage
between single phase and three phase equipment and vice versa.
