2. We will establish an RTI Coaching Procedure for students progressing to Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention needs
a. Create partnerships for the coaching process, look to
expand to include Brentmoor teachers and staff.
b. Set meeting times for teachers and staff to bring
students to the coaching staff. GLM is a good starting
point, but RTI meeting days/periods dedicated to
coaching. Look into 4, 5, and 6 periods as it would make
for easier coverage. Full period lunches as option.
c. Look into the causation, build the feeling of team, and
decide upon research-based intervention with the teacher
that helps build the confidence of the teacher in the
classroom with that student.
d. Start and finish the process in its entirety. The entire
process must be approached together and thoroughly.
Every decision is made together and at the meetings.
e. Make sure that student and parent are involved in the
method of monitoring and modeling.
