Installation Guide

To run CDSTORE as a web application, you need have the following


• Tomcat 6.0
• MySQL 5.0
• Jetty 6.1
• axis2.war
• mysql-connector-java-5.1.7-bin.jar
• test_data.sql
• order.aar
• productcategory.aar
• user.aar
• .keystore

The steps to set up CDSTORE:

1. Set up database
a. create an database CDSTORE in MySQL, grant all privileges to user
ezilla with password ezilla
b. execute CDSTORE_TABLE_CREATION.sql to create tables in database
c. execute test_data.sql to insert some testing data into tables

2. Deploy CDSTORE.jar
a. put CDSTORE.war into %TOMCAT_HOME%/webapps
b. put .keystore into %TOMCAT_HOME%/CDSTOREkeystore/.keystore
c. put the following script into %TOMCAT_HOME%/conf/server.xml
<Connector port="8443" protocol="HTTP/1.1" SSLEnabled="true"
maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true"
keystoreFile="\ CDSTOREkeystore \.keyCDSTORE" keystorePass="ezilla"
clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS" />
d. change the connector part number to 80 by modifying

3. Deploy web services

a. put mysql-connector-java-5.1.7-bin.jar into %JETTY_HOME%/lib/ext
b. extract axis2.war to %JETTY_HOME%/webapps
c. put order.aar, productcategory.aar, and user.aar into %JETTY_HOME
d. put the following script into %JETTY_HOME%/etc/jetty.xml

<Set name="User">ezilla</Set>

Now you can start CDSTORE by servers in following sequence:

1. start mysql
2. start jetty server
3. start tomcat server

Finally you can access CDSTORE by visiting https://localhost/CDSTORE .
