TGR - TV Broadcast !
Course Summative!

Outline:!
In groups (3 groups - 2 groups of 8 - 1 group of 7) students will produce an Infotainment TV Show (5
minute maximum) !
Each group will have: !
A half period to determine groups, crew roles, and TV show ideas!
2 periods to complete the individual artist item edit!
2 periods to complete TV show script!
Individual artist item must be completed by every student by Friday Jan. 9 end of period !
1 period of TV show rehearsal!
1 period of TV show final production !

Group TV Show Requirements!

Each group TV Show must include the following:!


720p Tricaster Session!
Choose and include two original artist item edits (from their group members) and one of the
Castlebrooke Link Crew Monthly Highlight videos (Sept, Oct, Nov or Dec - that were previously
completed)!
Plan and write their own original TV Show script!
Include 2 Hosts (must wear professional attire ie: button up shirt)!
Show all three chosen items (2 x artist items and 1 x Link Crew Highlight video)!
Show Graphics: Show title, Host names, and show credits that include all group member crew
positions and chosen artist item editors and Link Crew Highlight video editor)!

Group Evaluation!
Final TV show script!
Final recorded TV show (5 minute maximum) !
Teamwork during TV show rehearsal and final production!

Individual Requirements!

Each students Artist Item must follow these requirements:!


Must be edited entirely in class using Adobe Premiere Pro!
Format: 720p HD 29.97fps!
30 second maximum Artist item edit (from pre-shot YouTube downloaded media)!
Include 1 artist interview clip and create an original title for the artist name and title!
No video title or end credits to be added to the item!

Individual Evaluation!
30 second Artist item edit (from pre-shot YouTube downloaded media)!
TV script intro and extro for Artist item!
Individual crew position during TV show rehearsal and final production!

- Handout and explain Course Summative!
- determine groups (3 groups - 2 groups of 8 - 1 group of 7 = 23 students)!
- groups determine crew positions!
- each student chooses an artist (different than previous assignment) for their item!
- group types out and submits the following to Mr. Elsie: group members, crew positions and artist
item in a table!
- each student is responsible for writing their own artist item intro and extro !

Tues: !
- Groups #1 and 2 (16 students) begin editing individual artist item (pre-shot)!
- Group #3 plan and write show script (on own laptops)!

Wed:!
- Groups #1 and 2 (16 students) finish editing individual artist item (pre-shot)!
- Group #3 plan and write show script (on own laptops)!

Thurs:!
- Group #3 (7 students) begin editing individual artist item (pre-shot)!
- Groups #1 and 2 plan and write show script!

Fri:!
- Group #3 (7 students) begin editing individual artist item (pre-shot)!
- Groups #1 and 2 plan and write show script!

Week Jan. 12 - 16!
