Personal Summary

Im a versatile and responsible individual with an enthusiastic attitude. I am creative and organised. I
am keen to learn more about the working environment.
I am currently in my Third and Final Year at University, (finishing in July 2015) where I have studied
a range of subjects varying from Managing Business Finance to Business Consultancy Project. I am
hoping once I have complete my Business and Marketing Degree that I will be able to find a graduate
post in Marketing where I am able to use the skills gained over the course of my education.

Customer Assistant

I started working weekends whilst at college, since leaving for University in 2012 I have been given
the opportunity to return during University Holidays. This job entitled constantly working as a team,
sometimes under pressure.

Finance Assistant

This began helping out in the Occupational Health Department, which I was then offered the
opportunity to gain some experience in the Finance Department. This required inputting financial data
into systems and creating tickets are passes for staff members.

Work Experience

Virgin Atlantic, Manor Royal, Head Office (2006)


My weeks work experience with Virgin Atlantic, was based in the Head Office, however I visited
different departments and sites of the organisation, including visits to The Hanger at Gatwick, the
Marketing department and the Control Centre, both located in the Head Office.

Virgin Holidays, Crawley (2008)

Whilst at College, I spent a second week with Virgin, however this time it was working for Virgin
Holidays. This was within the HR department, mostly filing documents.

Personal Interests:

Music, Socialising, Reading, Fashion and Travel.

Communication:

I have completed many presentations both at college and at university on a


range of different topics. I have worked for Marks and Spencers for 7 Years
where I am always in contact with Customers. These both have helped
develop my confidence, communication and negotiation skills.

Team Work:

My part-time job and current course of study involves working predominately


in a team all of which have improved my organisation skills, communication
and co-ordination.

Problem Solving:

Working at Marks and Spencer I dealt with problems which improved my


customer service skills and my ability to find solutions.

Languages:

French and Spanish.

Computing:

I completed a key skills qualification in ICT and am a confident user of


Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and the Internet for research
purposes.
