LESSON AIMS: 1.To practice using the verb have got
2. To be able to form questions and negative sentences with the verb have got
3. To practice their vocabulary related to animals
4. To be able to use the plural correctly

CONTENTS:
ACTIVITY 1: Checking homework
Context:
Knowledge acquired the previous class
Organization: Individual work the students will read the words in ex.1/ p.39in their workbook.
ACTIVITY 2
Context:
The verb have got
Organization: The students read aloud the examples of animals from page 38, using sentences
with the verb have got. Then the teacher writes on the blackboard all the forms
of the verb in the affirmative and negative form and asks the students to give
their own examples. The teacher writes the most relevant examples on the
blackboard. The students copy them in their notebooks. Then the teacher asks if
the students know how questions are formed with the verb to have and gives
examples starting from affirmative sentences.
Evaluation: The students help form the questions starting from the affirmative sentences. Then
they try to guess the rule by looking at all the examples and the underlined words on
the blackboard.
ACTIVITY 3
CONTEXT: Exercise in the textbook
Organization: In pairs, students do ex. 7/ p.41. First they read aloud the examples as a whole
class, then they ask and answer questions using the cues and the pictures in the
textbook.
Evaluation: The pairs answer using role-play. The others take notes.
Possible problems: some students may need additional explanations and prompting in order to
do the exercise. T will check if everyone understood the task properly.
HOMEWORK: Ex.9/ p42.
