TRACTION MODULE WITH

SENSOR ALERT AND ALARM

SYSTEM

Our main motto is to work on the problem

created by any kind of obstruction on track at a
particular distance and to alert the driver with the
help of an alarm.

The basic module of locomotive is driven by DC

series motor of 12V and 10A. The torque produced
by motors is used to move the locomotive. The main
supply to the motor is given through pantographs.
The total length of path is 10m approximately.

Objective
The traction module with sensor alert and alarm
system will sense the object about 1 m distance and
alerts the driver with an alarm system.
The final outcome of our project is to design a traction
based locomotive equipped with sensor along with the
alarm system to alert the driven during obstructions on
the path.
