Summary explains why lab concept
is important to the real world by
explaining a concrete example of
such application.

Error Analysis Rubric

1: Novice
Mentioned whether or
not significant error
was present and
includes if it actual
values were either well
above, below, or right
on par with theoretical.

2: Developing
In addition to 1:
Correctly identifies at least 2
specific things responsible for
error, such as timers, measuring
devices, software, human error.

3: Proficient
In addition to 2:
Correctly explains how and why
these things caused the error,
such as human reaction time
made our time measurements too
large or mass scale was not
calibrated well.

4: Mastered
In addition to 3:
Proposes a practical solution to
improve experiment to reduce
experienced error AND
EXPLAINS how this will reduce
