Steve Wozniak, was the name of the man who invented the first apple computer ( steven,

Ted Hoff's knowledge of computers (then still very large machines) allowed him to

Powerpoint
We learnt how to make
a an awesome
powerpoint about
ourselves, it can teach
us how to finally work
out all the kinks in our
powerpoints in front of
the class. Even if you
know how to manipulate
it there can be marginal
timing error and stuff
like that which may ruin
it

Photoshop
We learnt how to make someone disappear, from the photo that is. Using this
program allows you to add and change pictures, disadvantages can be that it
becomes quite file heavy and takes a good amount of time to load, advantages are
the rich colours and the way you can change photographs. Id probably use it when I
find a piece of hair out of place or when Ive got a zit.

Auto CAD
We learnt how to draw models with autocad, I could now build a 3D model of a desk
Id like to make. A problem could be the fact that it crashes and you lose a lot of
work youve done, advantage is that its fairly straight forward and easily fixable
when there are errors. If I ever wanted to be an architect Id use it.

Adobe Illustrator
Another of our feats were illustrator, The disadvantages were that it is typically
harder to edit since it uses primarily a Vector based program, advantages are that it
uses Rastor as a fill colour. Id use it if I was designing another t- shirt or a poster.

Word
We also did a brief stint in word, disadvantages of word can include the inserting
photos making it hard to write anything afterwards without a lot of playing around
to make sure it wont move automatically, an advantage is that its a solid
dependable program. I end up using word for creating write- ups for class, creating
a fun exam review and writing novels.

Sketch up
As our final module we did sketch up. Sketch up, is a great way to build buildings
and related items, a problem is that theres quite a bit to it and it has problems if
dimensioning is off. Id use it if I wanted to create my dream house and give it to
contractors.
