Mens Team Report


HERTFORDSHIRE v GWYNEDD

17th-18th January 2015

An unlucky result for both Mens teams they played well and deserved to
win both games .
On Saturday the Ladies won their game 4-2.
On first was Wayne Stubbings making his debut had a brilliant game very
unlucky to lose 2-3 on a double in the final leg.
On next was Eron Walkes started slowly came back into the game after a
third leg win but it was too late lost 1-3.
Paul Stern quickly went 2-0 in front, should have won but lost 2-3.
Jonathan Creed had a very good game had darts at a double in the final but
his opponent went out on 170 unluckily lost 2-3
Wayne Dawson was next not at his best lost 1-3.
Lee White lost 2-3 defeated heavily in two of his losing legs had a chance in
the final leg..
David Pinnuck started a come back by winning 3-2
Mark Elliot struggled throughout once again not up to his best lost 0-3.
Graham Munt fought back after 1-2 behind to win 3-2 and claim the match
award.
Peter Brown made his return to the team and ground out a 3-1 win.
Paul Oliver could have played better lost 0-3.
Alan Weist did not play well as he can but did very well to win 3-0.
Ended with a 4-8 defeat.
On Sunday the Ladies lost 1-5.
Jason Neville had another great game in an excellent and a well deserved 4-3
win to give the team a great start.
Tony Cox seemed to lose his concentration losing 2-4.
Daniel Varney started well to win the first leg with a 120 finish although he
had a good fifth leg he lost out 1-4.
Robin Wigg another excellent game hit the doubles when needed and won
4-1.
Lee Searles did well to level at 3-3 needed something to spur him on in the
final leg has he could not get going lost 3-4.
Tony Tarry usual topsy performance in his 4-1 win.
Martin Kingsley had the hardest task of the day against Martin Phillips but
looking at the scoring he did not let himself or the team down down played
very well but lost out 0-4.
Tony Hammond looks like he had another engagement on his mind lost 0-4.
Adam Pinnuck followed was 0-2 behind got his game together and came
back to win 2-4.
John Blair had another good game 1-2 behind won the next three legs for a
4-2 win.
Chris Hudson put last months game behind him showed how he can play
this time with an excellent 4-2 win and claim the match award with a 27.79
average.
Andreas Hajimina was last on started slowly after a long journey was
getting his game together when his opponent went out on 154 ending up
losing 1-4.
Ended with a 6-6 draw for the Mens Team.

A good effort with the overall averages of both teams over the weekend was
much improved.
