Youve been assigned to cover what is expected to be a huge march on Washington DC. You are expected to cover the march, and the speech Dr. Martin Luther King is expected to give from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Write up the story you would submit to your news agency. You may use Google to research what it was like at the speech, how many were there, and the speech itself whatever information you need about that day. Remember, as a reporter assigned on this day you have no idea how this speech made history or became famous. AND remember, you are a journalist. You must be objective (dont take sides.) I shouldnt be able to tell if you are pro-King & his peace movement, or against him. Just stick with the facts: the march, the crowds, the speech, the reaction. REQUIREMENTS: >3 paragraphs, at least. (Intro Info Close) >Each paragraph must have at least 4-5 sentences with good content. (Throw away and repeating lines will not count as content. Of course, it can be longer.) >Proper grammar, punctuation, and paragraph techniques. (Look at the cues from Word red or green underlines - and fix them.) >This is a content & writing intensive grade. Dont just write what you make up from the top of your head. Write facts.
