We are awed by the big miracles . . . someones leg, or arm healed - and Jesus performed many such
miracles. He healed many, fed 5000 people with just a few loaves and fish. But was that central to Jesus
ministry? No. It was peripheral. He always had a deeper and forward looking purpose for all of those
things. He ultimately desired for all to be a part of the eternal Kingdom of God. In fact, I believe the most
important miracle that He performed was the transformed lives of His followers and disciples. Why was
that so miraculous? Well, first He took thieving tax collectors like Matthew and turned them into Fishers of
Men. He brought Matthew (a Roman lover) and Simon the Zealot (a Roman hater), enemies, into the same
band of disciples who turned the world upside down. So what is the miracle here? It is a heart changed, a
will brought into submission to Christ, the greatest of all miracles.
Here at Shining Stars our desire is to see lives changed over the long-term . . . by walking with the
children who are in our care.
Likewise, the birth of Jesus was a miracle. He was born in the unassuming town of Bethlehem and
lived a humble life of a servant, but He changed the course of human history.
Lets not miss the seemingly hidden miracles that can change us and the world around us and our
eternal destiny.

Who is the Fool?

Father George was opening his mail one morning.
Taking a single sheet of paper from an envelope, he
found written on it only one word: 'Fool'.
The following Sunday, in church, Father George
announced to the assembled congregation, 'I have
known many people who have written letters to me
and forgotten to sign their names. But this week I
received a letter from someone who signed his name
and had forgotten to write a letter.'

Sai of Anojiguda centre is a mentally depressed

child. He is about 20 years old, but he is like a child,
and behaves like a child. After coming to the Shining
Stars centre he is trying to learn about the common
things, such as (how to write A,B,C and how to talk
etc.). Praise God, he is improving a lot.
