In this article a hero is defined as someone that others look up to because we support their
actions and decisions. Often we see something in them that we dont see in ourselves, thus
making us want to be more like them. The article also states that we define those who have over
come a tragedy or survive terrible catastrophes as heroes. All of the examples shown in the
article share a common theme of perceiving someone as a hero because they exceed our
expectations, whether if its physically or emotionally.
