(MBFI), the Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines. (MTAP} and the Department of Education (DepEd) will hold the 2015 Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge from January ‘o March 2018, 2. The proctor shall distribute first the scratch papers where the contestants shall solve the problems Contestants write their names in all the scrateh papers 6. Before distributing the test papers, the prector should tell the contestants Ahat they should write only their name and schaol on the test paper. Each team will be provided with slips of paper for the answer to each question. Befare the first ‘question, they will write their team identification on each slip. 46, There shall be 20 questions: 10 fifteen-second questions warth 2 points each, § thirty-second questions worth 3 points exch and 5 one-minute questions worth 5 points each for a total of 60 points, a. For the 20-second questions, scratch paper will be provided for each team-contestant, Cantestants may begin solving as soon as they wish, For I-minute questions, 3 copy of the questions will be provided for each team. The timer starts when the quizmaster gives the GO signal, 18, Each answer will be written. on the official answer slips provided. As soon as the buzzer rings, everybody must ston writing. 19. Proctors wril collect the answer slips and give them to the judges who sort thom inta two sets: those with correct answers and those with wrang answers, 20.
