OF THE ARNICA MONTANA L. IN NATURE

Yu.N. Gorbunov
M.A. Ermakov
A.N. Shvetsov
N.V. Tsitsin Main Botanical Garden
RAS, Botanicheskaya str., 4, Moscow,

E-mail: gbsran@mail.ru
A number of field and laboratory experiments on revealing of biological features of Arnica montana L are carried out. On the basis of the
experimental data the possible reasons preventing the optimum reproduction, and also growth and development in the conditions of the wild
nature are defined. Necessity of seed reproduction in the conditions of
culture is specified.
Key words: Arnica montana L., biological features, vegetative reproduction, seed reproduction, first hibernation, ageing of plants.

In the article the bioecology, distribution and injuriousness of beefsteak fungus Fistulina hepatica Fr. causing butt-trunk decay of English oak
in the Belgorod oak forests is considered. On the basis of the results of field
surveys and the analysis of the received data the description of ecological
features of a beefsteak fungus is provided, prevalence and harmfulness of
the given species in ripening and ripe oak forest stands of the Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation is estimated.
Key words: beefsteak fungus, English oak, butt-trunk decay, prevalence of disease, harmfulness, viability of trees.

The data collected by the authors in an expedition to study the natural condition of the river Vorona streaming are discussed in the article. Studies were conducted at the area of its middle reaches within and in the immediate vicinity of the reserve "Voroninsky." The organoleptic characteristics of water quality and changes of water flow in the target area are estimated. Saprobity and bottom condition of the river are determined. The
lists of taxons of benthic invertebrates found in the studied area are provided.
Key words: water quality, saprobity, benthic invertebrates, reserve,
characteristics of the river gauging.

Features of formed elements of the haemolymph of mollusc Stenomphalia ravergieri are shown. Four types of haemocytes have been identified. Spherical haemocytes of the first type are capable of spreading and the
formation of multiple pseudopodia that allows them to participate actively
in phagocytic reactions. Haemocytes of type 2 are oval cells of the steady
form which seldom form pseudopodia, they can adhere alien objects on
their surface. Haemocytes of type 3 are amorphous cells of small size, with
small pseudopodia. Haemocytes of type 4 differ from the previous type of
cells in size only, and, probably, are an intermediate phase of the development of the third type haemocytes. Individual changes in the structure of
cellular populations and dynamics of the number of haemocytes are revealed.
Key words: haemolymph, haemocytes, pseudopodia, phagocytic activity.

Hydrated fulleren (HF) is a molecule of C60 put into volumetrical membrane of water molecules. It is determined that HF displays a broad spectrum of biological activity both in vivo and in vitro
even in extremely poor dose with complete absence of toxicity. There
are some data that HF has an original chemical activity on the one
hand it can be considered as a strong anti-oxidant but on the other
hand it is a donor of electrons for oxygen that is pro-oxidant. Special membranes account for this fact. The model of HF can be the key
to understanding the role of water structures of the human body for
its normal functioning.
Key words: fullerenes, water structures, human organism.

GEOECOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF ANTHROPOGENIC EVOLUTION
OF GEOSYSTEMS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF GOMEL)
A.P. Gusev
S.V. Andrushko
F. Skorina Gomel State University,
Sovetskaya St., 104, Gomel, 246019,
Belarus
E-mail: gusev@)gsu.by
In work results of geoecological researches of anthropogenic evolution In the work the results of geoecological researches of anthropogenic
evolution of geosystems in the city territory of Gomel are given. Researches
were carried out on three time intervals: 1 the beginning of the 19th century; 2 the middle of the 20th; 3 the beginning of the 21st century. Laws
of change of structure of land use, relief, geological processes are revealed.
The assessment of the ecological risk caused by anthropogenous transformation of geosystems is made. It is established that anthropogenous evolution of geosystems in the city territory leads to increased ecological risk
from the intensification of geological processes and destruction of the ecological framework. Zone of increased ecological risk are technogenic complexes of floodplain landscape.
Key words: geosystem, anthropogenic evolution, land use, modern
geological processes, ecological framework, ecological risk.
