artist of your choice. The
outcome must
demonstrate an
understanding
of line.
(Remember to title and date the
artwork)

1. Draw a series of optical


exercises that reflect an
understanding of line, space
and
pattern.
(Think about the placement of these
drawings in your journal)

2. Select one of your original


designs and reproduce it in
paint in your folio.
Dont forget your art smock, paints
and paint brushes!

Research a significant Op
artist from the 60s and
write a small magazine
article/review of their work
to be stuck in your journal.
(Dont forget to include colour
images with dates and titles)

3. Draw perspective view of


box and plan final design.
Transfer final artwork to all
sides of box. Think about
how the pattern may vary on
each side. Plan your time
well and think about the
final presentation of the
work.
