Case Title : Supplier Management

1. Overview:
With the expansion in the business of Hyderabad Constructions Limited the
company had a new problem managing its suppliers. Being a small
company in the past, but now a big giant, the company was facing difficulty in
maintaining huge details by conventional methods. The company was badly in
need of a system to do this for them. Adding, deleting or even modifying
details regarding suppliers has to be with proper authorization, that too with a
restricted number of suppliers from a particular city. It was difficult for the
company to view the supplier wise details. It was difficult to track the
supplier contract expiry information. For all the above reasons the
management has decided on automating a part of their supplier management
system.
2. Requirements:
Create a screen with Login Id and Password. Check for the different roles and
restrict access to perform the specified operations. (I.e. User cannot
Modify/Delete values.). User types are Admin and User.
Read the requirements carefully; Use appropriate fields and normalize the
database where ever necessary.

Provide a feature supporting add, modify, deletion of supplier information

( can separate them into different pages or can be in 1 page with 3 different
buttons )
City cant have more than 10 suppliers. This validation should be done at the
backend.
Items/Materials could be loaded in the form of a static table (preloaded data).
Provide a feature to map materials to supplier, i.e., a list of items being
supplied by a particular supplier.
Display supplier wise item wise details for all the available suppliers whose
contracts have not expired using a stored procedure.
