Second Chance to Prisoners

Introduction (10 pts)
For our project, we have decided to make a bill about how prisoners should get a second chance when they are
released from prison and that they should be accepted back into society. For example, when they are released,
these prisoners are often neglected and 30% of them go back to their old habits.
For our project, we are going to make 3 multi-media demonstrations to show how a law is made. Also, we
are going to gather knowledge about GA state government.
Essential/Driving Research Question (5 pts)
1. What problem or issues have you discovered that needs to be solved? We think that prisoners should be
given a second chance when they are released from prison. They should be trained as to what is correct
and what is wrong.

2. What proposals do you have in order to help solve the identified issues? We are going to make a video,
an instagram, and a website. The video is going to explain and defend our bill. Our Instagram will have
people put the likes for our bill and the website will explain our bill.

Result (10 pts)

Our intended result completely matched our final result for the Social Studies Bill Project. Our final product
was a social media page, a website, and a video. Each one describes our project and how it will affect different
people. Our video was one minute long. People can use the website to get more information on our topic. Also,
it has a link to our research document.
Reflection (10 pts)
We learned a lot of information about how a bill becomes a law in legislature. Also, we now know how to
contact our representative. This project was easy to develop. However, next time we will not work at the last
minute. We will work faster.
