The chambers in this Job Pack have been selected so that closure of the isolating
valves indicated on the attached marked-up P&ID will isolate all the chambers.
Contractor should note that the existing chambers are not water-tight and are
currently full of water due to leakage through the chamber walls and/or from pipe
work.
It is a requirement that all new Hydrant and Monitor chambers be watertight. This
will be determined by visual inspection one week after dewatering is turned off.
Water on any concrete surface sufficient to wet tissue paper will constitute failure.
