Leadership.
The process of influencing a group toward the achievement of goals.

Types of Leadership Style.

Autocratic style.
A leadership style in which the leader dictates policies and procedures, decides what goals are to
be achieved, and directs and controls all activities without any meaningful participation by
the subordinates.

Democratic/ Participative.
A leader who tended to involve employees in decision making , delegate authority ,encourage
participation ,in decision work methods and goals , and use feedback as an opportunity for
coaching employees.

Laissez-fair style.
A leader who has generally gave the group complete freedom to make decision and complete the
work in whatever way it saw fit.
A non-authoritarian leadership style. Laissez faire leaders try to give the least possible guidance
to subordinates, and try to achieve control through less obvious means. They believe that people
excel when they are left alone to respond to their responsibilities and obligations in their own
ways.
Leadership style in which a leader transfers decision making power to one or more employees,

Bureaucratic style.
A style of leadership that emphasizes procedures and historical methods regardless of their
