Week in Review: February 11 - 13

Tuesday was a great professional development day for us at the Convention Centre listening to Chris
Weber! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend!
This week is Random Acts of Kindness week. We started a SMART sequence around the book Each
Kindness and students tried to put themselves in the place of the 2 main characters that have been
introduced in the book so far. We will finish the book next week and I will send home an activity for your
child to complete
We had our Time unit assessment. Your child will be bringing home their test next week for you to sign
and help them with corrections. They did a great job and I really encourage you to have them tell the
time on an analog clock at home!
Once again, the weather acted against us this week! Unfortunately we had to cancel our cross-country
ski on Wednesday and our ski day on Thursday. We are working on alternate arrangements for another
ski day and we appreciate your patience and understanding!
Our class party on Friday was a lot of fun! The kids were pumped!!! It was a good way to end a short week
