Pretty Little Liarsis an American mystery-thriller teen drama television series created by Marlene King. Based on the
popular series of novels written bySara Shepard, the show premiered on June 8, 2010 on ABC Family. The series
follows the lives ofAria Montgomery(Lucy Hale),Spencer Hastings(Troian Bellisario),Hanna Marin(Ashley Benson)
andEmily Fields(Shay Mitchell), four girls whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their queen bee,Alison
DiLaurentis(Sasha Pieterse). One year later, they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure using the name "
A" who threatens to expose their secrets. At first they think it's Alison herself, but after she is found dead, the girls
realize that someone else knows their secrets, including long-hidden ones they thought only Alison knew.
Clothing and makeup companies such as MAC and Pink. They would air commercials like these because teenage girls
tend to wear makeup and clothing Is a huge part of acting and everyday life.

Target Audience: Young Female Adults and Single Mothers


Mom follows Christy Plunkett (Anna Faris), a single mother who, after dealing with her battle with alcoholism and
drug abuse, decides to restart her life in Sonoma County in California's wine country working as a waitress and
attendingAlcoholics Anonymous meetings. Her mother Bonnie Plunkett (Allison Janney) is also a recovering drug and
alcohol addict. Christy's 17-year-old daughter Violet (Sadie Calvano), who was born when Christy was 16, has herself
become a teen mother by her boyfriend Luke. Christy also has a younger son Roscoe (Blake Garrett Rosenthal) by
her ex-husband Baxter (Matt L. Jones), a deadbeat but likeable pothead.
Companies that are family based would want to air commercials during this show. Examples of this would be Toys
R Us, Amusement parks like Canadas Wonderland, car companies like Ford or Honda, and restaurants.

Target Audience: Ages 14+ and Adults born in the 70s/80s


This animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and Lois have three kids - the youngest is a
brilliant, sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. Their talking dog Brian keeps baby Stewie in
check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.
Since this show is highly based in comedy movies and other TV shows like this example (The Simpsons and The Clevand
Show) would want to air their commercials because they are similar.

Target audience: Adult Men and Single Men


"Two and a Half Men" was originally about a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper; his uptight brother, Alan; and Alan's growing
son, Jake. Charlie's free-wheeling life is complicated when his brother gets divorced and moves, along with his son, into Charlie's
beach-front Malibu house. The series' premise was revamped in the ninth season, focusing on Alan moving on with his life after the
death of Charlie with help from his new best friend and roommate, Walden Schmidt, who is also dealing with his own troubles
following a bad divorce. Alan, Walden, and Jake eventually bond, becoming close friends, forming a surrogate family unit.
Since the target audience and the show is based on men, mens products would want to air their commercials during the running of
the show. Such companies would be the following: Car Dealerships, Shaving Products like Gillett, Beer (Budweiser) and many more
along those lines.
