South Faade which faces the main access road is deprived on a proper place
to have a signage.
An aesthetically pleasing and architecturally meaningful element is being
proposed for same.

The same faade appears bland and massive. Bearing in mind the proximity
of the sea, same in being reworked in terms of colours and other simple
elements to better suit the environment.

3. The external staircase from the mezzanine of the processing area lies
directly on the walkway.
The former is being moved to cater for an undisrupted walkway around the
warehouse. The footpath below should also be reprofiled in order to ensure
safe pedestrian and vehicular flow.
4. The gutter for storm water collection is very flimsy in terms of design and
appears to be an add
on element to the faade. Same will be reworked.

West faade is the most prominent faade in terms of loading and

unloading and staff circulation. No provision for canopies has been made.

No indication regarding boxing for roller shutters. It is being assumed that

same are being kept inside.

Similarly location of
outdoor units and extraction flues to be specified as it directly affects the
faade treatment.

Plan of services required, especially at catwalk level.

Small staircases at fire exit to be reviewed and clubbed together. This
will ensure that the number of people rushing out do not provoke a
stampede due to the narrow and precarious state of the staircases.

10. Footbridge at mezzanine to be made more aesthetic through the use of

railings and the like.
Can be used as a gathering space, therefore there is a need for it to be
covered.
11. Height of block wall to be raised to envelope door openings.
12. Details of annexed services rooms to be given.
13. Ventilation for charging room to be specified. Usually these rooms required
louvered openings in order to ensure permanent supply of fresh air and
exhaust of warm air.
14. Drainage and disposal for desalination plant to be specified.

16. Supply of diesel for generator. Routing to be defined. Fire safety norms to be
considered.
17. Water storage for potable use to be given.
18. Water storage for firefighting to be defined along with fire fighting strategy.

the sizing of the fire escape corridors.
