Movable Antifreeze waste depository shed The Native Village of Eyak (Tribe) is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of an Antifreeze Waste Depository Shed and separate satellite receptacle. Proposals must be received by the Native Village of Eyak at the main office 110 Nicholoff Way, Cordova Alaska by 4 P.M. local time on Friday, February 27th, 2015. Proposals must be marked Attn: Ivy Patton, Clean Harbor Project Antifreeze waste depository shed. Proposals may be hand delivered to the main office, emailed to Ivy@eyak-nsn.gov or mailed to Native Village of Eyak, P.O. box 1388 Cordova, AK 99574. The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Design and construction of a shed at the South Harbor that be used as an antifreeze depository shed and storage area until full at which time antifreeze will be recycled and/or backhauled out of Cordova. The design and construction should take into consideration the following; Construction should adhere to all federal, state, and local building codes Construction shall be completed by May 1, 2015 A strong, finished structural frame to withstand rain, wind, and snow loads The shed shall be no larger than 8x8 The shed shall be enclosed on three sides with a single pitch roof The shed shall be built so as to be mobile Regular consultation with the Tribe and the City of Cordova on design, construction, location and placement. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal civil rights laws and regulations. The Contractor shall, in all solicitation or advertisements for employees placed by or on the behalf of the Contractor, state that all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, creed, color, or national origin, and that a preference shall be applied for qualified Indian applicants. Insurance shall be provided by the successful proposal in the amount of 1 million aggregate. The Native Village of Eyak reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.
