The Math: Working with a partner, create a word problem that can be represented by a 1
variable equation. I recommend creating the equation first then writing you word problem to
match. You need to make sure that need at least two steps to solve your equation.

The Collaboration Piece: Using your i-Pad log into create a new discussion on My Big Campus
labeling it as your name (ex Mr. Oberbecks Post). In your discussion post your word problem.
Then reply to your own post uploading your video as your reply. You will then reply to at least
two other groups by attempting to writing an equation from their word problem, and what you
found to be the solution. Once you have replied you will have access to the groups video.
Watch the video and leave a constructive comment. If you got the problem wrong discuss how
their presentation helped. If you got the problem right compare how you solved the problem
with how the group did. Finally reply to everyone who attempted your word problem.
