3.Hazards Identification
Emergency Overview
Purple Liquid with mild solvent odour. Combustible Liquid . Keep away from Heat
and all sources of ignition. May cause sensitization by skin contact which may produce
allergic contact dermatitis. May cause sensitization by inhalation which may produce
occupational
asthma. May cause eye , skin and respiratory tract irritation .May be harmful if inhaled
or swallowed . Aspiration hazard if swallowed . Can enter lungs and cause damage.
4. First Aid Measures
a) Inhalation :
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Contact physician.
b) Ingestion:
Aspiration hazard. Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth. Seek
Immediate
medical attention .
c) Skin Contact :
Wash thoroughly with soap and plenty of clean water . Contact physician .

d) Eye Contact:
Flush immediately with large amounts of water and continue flushing for 15 minutes
until irritation subsides.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
Fire :
Flash Point :100 degree F.
Fire Extinguishing Media
Dry Chemical. Carbon Di Oxide. Halon or Foam. Water spray is recommended to
cool or protect exposed materials or structures. Water may be ineffective for
extinguishment.
6. Accidental Release Measures
Eliminate all ignition sources. Prevent spilled materials from entering sewers. Use
non sparking tools.
7. Storage :
Keep containers tightly closed . Use and store this material in a cool , dry , well
ventilated area away from heat .
