2 Research Locale
The study will be conducted at Sto. Cristo Elementary School , A school catering
elementary students aging 6 years old to 13 years old around Bago Bantay and Brgy.
Bagong Pag-asa Quezon City. we chose this school because of its close proximity and
accessibility.
3.3 Population and Sampling
Our respondents will be 100 students of Sto. Cristo Elementary School, must be 7 year old
grade 1 or grade 2. Residing at either Bago Bantay or Brgy. Bagong Pag- Asa Quezon City,
who are willing to participate, and with parents willing to be interviewed.
3.4 Ethical consideration
Respondents parents are assured of their confidentiality and that no harm will be done to
them or their children, they will be given a consent to be signed with the statement that
they can back out whenever they would feel uncomfortable, threatened or harmed.
3.5 Research instrument
We will use a self made questionnaire that is purposely made to assess their language
skills, reasoning, mathematical skills, and general knowledge.
3.6 Data collection
We will start collecting data as soon as we get the permission of the schools principal and
we will use their census to easily identify the students who meets our criteria for study.
Then we will ask for the permission of the students parent to allow their children to be
part of our study by giving and having them sign consents, and with all that done. We will
start giving the students the questionnaires made and we will interview the parents for
data gathering.
