B. Course Description
This course discusses about the basic geography/world geography. It encompasses proactively the students awareness on the Physical, Human, Map Reading and Glocal
(Global & Local) geography as earth being home of mankind. It farther, enhances the passion of geographic knowledge and skills. The methods, including observation, data
gathering and presentation, analytical and interpretative skills were reinvented. The understanding, competency and values obtained help the student to form desirable and pleasant
value-system within the framework constructed by the glocal (Global and Local), as well as to assess, evaluate, interpret and attempt solutions to the spatial socio-environmental
concerns through policy advocacy and construction.

Moreover, students role in society will be more effectively reinforce, monitored and asses in their learning outcomes through theoretically constructed geographical
theories. Generally, basic geographic learning in the physical and human geography; map and map-reading; regional and local geography is outlined according to the observed and
learned behavior by the students within their own domestic, national and glocal experience especially the recent responses of man to the universal changes. It lastly, attempt to
design framework for advocacy on risk reduction, preparedness, environmental and sex, gender socio-economic and socio-political legislation.
C. Specific Objectives
At the end of semester 100% of the students will be able to master the 95% of the following specific objectives:
Cognitive domains
Students are expected to:
1. Learn and understand the cause and effect of the latitude, longitude, equator, prime meridian (noon time) and international date line (midnight) to the lifestyle of the
local, regional, national and international geographic living condition of an organism;
2. Demonstrate and point-out the cause and effect on the geographical movement of the earth as the effect on the rotation and revolution of earth while travelling its own
orbit and axis in a Waveling motion in its universal experience;
3. Tell, explain and discuss the role of the geographical factors in the lives
of theproperty
people right
as inhabitants of the common topographic environment;
Intellectual
4. Recall the theoretically-based constructed theories on the geophysically and geographically constructed factors that influenced the lives of the people.
Psychomotor domains
Students are expected to:
1. Observe, record, classify and interpret data collected in the geographic field that has secondary and primary significance and share findings to the locals;
2. Read, locate, interpret, mapping, photos analysis, documentary and statistical analysis and interpretation using diverse instructional materials on geography;
3. Represent geographical information in simple map form (sketch-maps or transectorize-maps), graphs or diagrams, and to write in a coherent manner;
5. Show understanding of geographical concepts, ideas, principles contained in the syllabus and their application in the context of the physical and human environments
through Outcome-Based Education-OBE by using the Mercator and azimuthal map;
6. Draw, show and understanding of the spatial patterns and interactions of the inhabitants within the given environments;
4. Demonstrate locational knowledge applied to the seven continental mass of land in the world and drawn from within places, peoples and events;

5. Map and map-reading skills must be mastered using the Mercator, conical and azimuthal map by pointing-out the latitude & longitudinal lines.

Students are expected to:
1. Imbue and appreciate God given richness into the desirable and undesirable; pleasant and unpleasant materials or fossils for survival of mankind;
2. Demonstrate sentimental value and awareness through environmental issues, conservation, protection and promotion to live life to the fullest;
3. Form and feel reasonable judgments in relation to environmental issues & geographic awareness and making it a better place for man to live; and
4. Reflect and live-by-example why and how people think, act, feel and judge differently.
D. Learning Outcomes
At the end of the semester 100% of the students will be able to master 95% of the following learning outcomes:

3. Apply some of the technical skills required for the study of geography and the environment;

5. Give and enumerate examples of connections between the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere geographic areas;
6. Describe the geographic patterns to the earths physical environment, including global patterns of climate, ecosystems, soils, and landforms;
7. Explain basic environmental processes operating in the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere that produce geographic patterns;
8. Develop technical skills include reading, creating maps; interpreting air photos; creating graphs and charts; collecting; presenting and analyzing data;
9. Use the skills and learning acquired and gained throughout man to man and man to his/her environment while living on earth as his home to mankind; and lastly
10. Live by example through their day-to-day just and dynamic humane society by preserving, protecting, promoting and fostering the value system constructed; and
