Reflective Response
A. Report of Students Performance in Terms of Stated Objectives (after lesson is
taught)
A lot of the children seem very interested in the lesson today. Other
than the couple of students with attention issues, (#3 and #20.) they
were very involved. A lot of them are starting to write about the
American Symbols in their kid writing books, which is very exciting
to see.
B. Personal Reflection
Did I follow my lesson plan? Why or why not?
1. I followed my lesson plan but it was spread out during the
whole day because there were a lot of scheduled things today
that we had to work around. I was all over the place but at the
end of the day, everyone was able to do all the parts of my
lesson and really well.
2. The one student (#4) that was not here for the pretest day was
taken out into the hallway with Mrs. Berger to finish during the
beginning/review of my lesson.
Was I confident enough to get my point across?
1. I did feel confident with my lesson today because it was about
the American Symbols that I have been doing since the second
week. I love teaching them about something that is not
necessarily something they would wanted to learn about first.

2. Colleen Berger was out of the classroom in the hallway with

the students throughout the whole day doing a couple different
assignments with them so
