Union Contractor, a Letter of
Subscription must be filled out by the
Employer. After the employer has
completed the Letter of Subscription, it
can be taken to any one of the Local
Unions listed. At the Local Union, you
will fill out paperwork to complete your
indenture into the apprenticeship
program. At this time, you will also
apply for membership into the
Carpenters Union.

job, in related training classes,
and to ensure personal and coworker safety on the job.

This course will introduce drywall


handling methods, applications and
recommended levels of drywall finish to
achieve the desired aesthetics. An
emphasis will be placed on trim
attachment and finishing techniques.
Various types of finish trim will be
identified. Students must demonstrate
proficiency in the proper use of automatic
taping tools. (40 hours).
You will need to complete 13.5
requirement credits, 16 hours work

Construction Inspectors monitor
materials, workmanship, and building
codes that are critical to a buildings
structure. The training classes are
academically challenging and applicants
must be willing to work and study
diligently to improve themselves. The
program requires 6000 hours of on the
job training, successful completion of 5
training periods and will take about 3-4
years to complete.
