Academic Coaching
The Foothill Academic Coaching
Team (FACT) is composed of three
Masters level students from local
colleges and universities. FACT will
work with students with disabilities
on a one to one basis and also offer a
series of workshops in the following
areas:
Time management
Self-advocacy
Short and long term planning
Note-taking and study skills
Organization
Test preparation
Reduction of test anxiety
Utilization of technology
Stress reduction
School, life and work balance
Learning
Disabilities
Foothill provides services for students with verified
learning disabilities. These services include
academic and career counseling, early registration,
note-taking, and extended time for examinations.
Classes offered include study skills, math support,
writing skills, and student success strategies. To

Accessible Parking
Parking for disabled persons is located in Lots 1,
2-A, 3-A, 4, 4-A, 4-B, 5-A, 8, stadium and transit
stations. You must display a DMV-placard. To obtain
a temporary disability permit, call (650)949-7017.
