1. Write a short reflection based on what you felt and learned through watching the
video on workplace safety. I thought that the video was very interesting because I can
relate to lots of the situations, because I work at a bake shop. I learned lots of new
information that will help me work in a safer environment. Overall this video was very
educational and I learned a lot from it that I will benefit from in the future.

What are the laws about hiring children?
(1) A person must not employ a child under 15 years of age unless the person has
obtained the written consent of the child's parent or guardian.
(2) A person must not employ a child under 12 years of age without the director's
permission.
