Hot Desert/cold desert

Cold desert
They are in temperate zones.
Very hot summers alternate with extremely cold winters.
Temperatures can fall to -10 degrees.
There is very little precipitation ,no more than 250 mm a
year
There is not vegetation.
Animals: Arctic Fox, Rock Ptarmigan, Emperor
Penguin and Southern Elephant Seals.

Hot desert
They are found near the tropics.
During the day temperatures are always very
high and can reach more than 50 degrees .
At night,they fall sharply , sometimes to
below 0 degrees.
There is very little precipitation ,no more
than 250 mm a year.
Its vegetation is scarce. It is located in oases
and there are cactus.
