Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc.
DePaul University
To whom it may concern:
Alpha Phi Gamma, Inc. is an Asian interest sorority at DePaul University. We were
founded at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA on February 1, 1994. We have
been providing the community with service here at DePaul since 2002 as the Epsilon Chapter.
The purpose for our organization is to provide sisterhood, academic excellence, philanthropy and
community service, Asian awareness, and personal growth. Our mission is to bring together
women of different cultures to form a family away from home and give to the university and the
community the service they need.
On Monday, January 27, 2014, we will be hosting the Asian Knowledge Bowl, a Jeopardystyle trivia game that tests the participants on Asian culture. We have had Asian Knowledge
Bowl in the past, and we are hoping to make this an annual event for our chapter. With this event,
we are hoping to spread Asian awareness in a fun, creative way, as well as build stronger bonds
with organizations on- and off-campus. In order for the Asian Knowledge Bowl to happen, we
need donations. The donations will go to prizes for the first-place and second-place teams of the
Asian Knowledge Bowl. Donations do not need to be money. Anything you will be able to give
us will help us immensely and be greatly appreciated. We are a non-profit organization, and this
event will be free to the public. We will gladly announce your contribution during the event. If
you have something to donate or have any questions, feel free to contact Katelyn Algas at (920)
857-6684 or heartbeat.49e@gmail.com. Please help us make Asian Knowledge Bowl a
successful and yearly event.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
